Court to consider Mani’s pleas

NEW DELHI:  The Supreme Court will consider CPM Idukki former district secretary M M Mani’s pleas seeking cancellation of the case charged against him in connection with the controversial speech in Manakkad, on July 23. The court will consider the two pleas seeking cancellation of the FIR and to stop the re-investigation in the case, together.  


Harish Salve and U U Lalith, senior advocates of the Supreme Court will appear for Mani in the case. Salve is an expert in constitutional cases.
