I’m not aware of notification on Aranmula airport, says Mullakkara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former agriculture minister Mullakkara Ratnakaran said that he was not aware of the notification issued by the previous LDF government declaring 2,500 acres of land for the Aranmula airport. The subject didn’t come for the consideration of the cabinet. The notification released in February 2010 was noticed only in March, he said.


Mullakkara said unnoticing the notification is a serious thing.  The notification may have been released by the industries department. He said the interest of some officials of the industries department for the airport may be behind the notification.
