Director Kamal against jury panel

KOCHI: Director Kamal has come to the forefront against the state award jury panel for its alleged lack of a clear perspective during the selection of awards.


He spoke against branding the multifaceted actor Jagathy Srikumar as a "comedian".


According to the director, there should not be any discrimination like "good actor" and "comedian".


Actor Salim Kumar and director B Unnikrishnan had also voiced their criticism against the jury panel earlier.
