Sectarianism behind VS’ allegations: CC

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI (M) Central Committee (CC) on Wednesday blamed V.S. Achuthanandan in its mouthpiece that the allegations he raised against the party’s Kerala unit were with the intention of sectarianism.

All the allegations Achuthanandan mentioned in the letter to the CC were rejected in its resolution.  The resolution clarified that Achuthanandan’s claim that his disengagement with the party is purely on political and ideological basis was baseless.

The party’s relationship with DIC, issue of ADB loan, PDP alliance, and association with Abdul Nasser Madani were all discussed and settled inside the party. The party had also expressed its stance on the SNC Lavalin scandal—the resolution specified.
