TP murder: Chargesheet to be submitted before Aug 10
Thursday, July 26, 2012: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of Revolutionary Marxist Party leader TP Chandrasekharan will submit the chargesheet before August 10.
Former Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Chandrasekharan, 51, was murdered on May 4 in Kozhikode district by a group of hired killers, some of whom have been linked to the CPI-M.
As per law, the charge sheet was required to be submitted within 90 days after the crime, failing which those accused would be released on bail. As many as 70 people were already arrested in connection with the case.
