THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State government has decided to turn the existing seven periods in schools to eight. It has also been decided to reduce one-hour lunch-break to 35 minutes.
A report regarding the change is being prepared by SERT’s expert committee appointed by the government and it will soon be over. Thus there will be an increase of five periods in a week.
The class-timings will be from 10am to 4pm and lunch-break will be from 12:55 pm to 1:30pm.
