Passengers with gold in stomach held in Nedumbassery

NEDUMBASSERY: Four passengers, who reached Nedumbassery International Airport with gold in stomach, were taken into custody. A coin of eight grams was obtained from one person as soon as he vomited on reaching the airport. The four has been shifted to the hospital for taking an X ray.

The four reached the airport from Malayasia via Malindo Flight last night. A red light started flashing hinting about the yellow metal on their bodies when the four passed through the metal detector door.  On questioning, they revealed that they have swallowed the metal. Among the four, three are from Ramanathapuram and one from Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu.

Administering enema on them is quite dangerous. In that case, after taking an X-ray certain food items should be given. The X-ray shows how much gold they have swallowed.
