‘Licence of unhygienic hotels will be cancelled’
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Food Safety department has informed that the licence of shops and eateries which fail to maintain cleanliness will be cancelled without prior notice.Strict legal action will be taken against hotels, canteen, and wayside eateries with unhygienic infrastructure and food. The department has decided to act quickly as they feel that the fast approaching monsoon may also bring with it several communicable diseases.
