THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the case relating to the rape allegation against A P Abdullakutty MLA, solar scam accused Saritha S Nair was asked by Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate to give her statement on Thursday itself. The court also made it clear that it could not extend the time for recording statement any further.
Meanwhile, Saritha, on Tuesday, requested for five more days’ time to give statement as she would be in the hospital.
The case was that the MLA had called her to Mascot hotel apparently to discuss matters related to solar panel project and raped her. But, interestingly, Saritha didn’t turn up the last two times she was summoned to record her statements.
