Valakom case: Aides of Pillai, son subjected to polygraph test

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI has subjected close aides of Kerala Congress (B) chairman Balakrishna Pillai and his son Ganesh Kumar MLA to lie-detector test in the case relating to the assault on a teacher in Valakom.

Pillai’s cousin Saranya Manoj and Ganesh Kumar’s Additional Personal Assistant Pradeep were subjected to the test. Six more persons will have to undergo the test and CBI hopes to collect more evidence from them.

The case is that an attempt was made to murder Krishnakumar , a teacher in the RVHSS school run by Balakrishna Pillai. According to the teacher’s statement, a few persons had tried to kill him on his way back home from the house of astrologer Sreekumar.
