Hindu votes turned against CPI (M)

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  It was opined at the CPI (M) state panel meeting that Hindu votes are turning against the party. It was a setback for the party airing the interview of the former disciple of Amritanandamayi in the party channel.

The votes believed not to leak have been leaked and it is a serious lapse that one could not stop that. Leaders attending the talks said that it should be rectified after finding the reason for it. Votes for the front have gone to the BJP. It was also opined that the situation which led the people to vote for Aam Aadmi should also be judged.

Some pointed out that not fielding a candidate from the Nair Community from Thiruvananthapuram to Chalakudy is one of the reasons for the poll debacle.

Though the ‘stinker’ remarks against RSP did not affect much in Kollam, criticisms arose from other districts.
