THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a tragic incident, 33-year-old Rajesh consumed poison along with his mother and three children in Nalanchira. The man, his mother and one son are battling for life, while another son and daughter died in the hospital.
The victims have been identified as Vignesh R Nair (6) and Ammu alias Sivani (5).
Rajesh of Akshaya Gardens in Nalanchira, his eldest son Maheswaran and mother Kumari (52) are in a serious condition. Rajesh and his mother are admitted in the medical college hospital and son at the intensive care unit of the SAT Hospital.
Vignesh and Sivani were confirmed dead by the time they reached SAT Hospital. The reason for the crime is not known. A case has been registered.
