No improvement in Thilakan’s health

Veteran actor Thilakan is continuing in a critical but stable condition at a private hospital here,where he has been put on ventilator for 10 days, following multiple organ failure.

Eminent doctors from the Vellore Christian Medical College (CMC) also examined the 76-year-old award winning versatile actor in the past couple of days.

The scope of shifting him to the CMC was probed but dropped in view of the variation in blood pressure.

His kidneys were affected and he also suffered a heart attack and cerebral haemorrhage.

The State Government is footing the medical expenses of the actor while filmdom and buffs are supportive with prayers and hope.

Eminent dignitaries from various walks of life visited the ailing actor, after he was shifted to the hospital with a deteriorating health condition.
