THRISSUR: Activists of different organisations protesting the levying of toll on Angamaly-Mannuthy national highway besieged the Paliyekkara toll plaza.
A huge battalion of police were stationed on the scene and protestors, shouting slogans, tried to break the police formation.
Police controlled the disrupted traffic along the road.
