THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three engineering students were killed when the car in which they travelled collided with a bus at Mangalappuram near Kazhakoottam on the national highway.The incident happened early Thursday morning at 2 am.
The students have been identified as Sharone of Adoor ,Unnikrishnan of Kozhikkode and Praveen of Kannur.
They were students of Pappanamcode Engineering College in the capital city.
Sharone and Unnikrishnan lost their lives on the spot while Praveen succumbed to his injuries in the surgical ICU of medical college hospital.
Jishnu of Kumarapuram and George of Thiruvalla had been injured.
