Murali seeks Thiruvanchoor’s resignation

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : The I Group within the Congress party is toughening its stand against Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.

The spokesperson of the group, K Muraleedharan, MLA, has demanded that Thiruvanchoor resign as home minster and the chief minster take over the charge of the home ministry.

“The chief minister should step in to salvage the image of the home ministry which has already became a 'cattle shed' of sorts. Or else, the UDF will have to pay a heavy price,” the MLA said and added that the Jail DGP had talked like a Marxist.
