Agitations till Mani resign: Kodiyeri
KANNUR: The opposition LDF will continue their agitations till Finance Minister K M Mani resigns, said CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. The opposition will boycott all programmes of Mani and will not cooperate with him in the assembly. Talking to the media, he said Mani will be blocked on the way.
The government cannot continue in power after the governor observed an administration crisis. Governor’s statement on Article 356 of the Constitution is serious. The dictatorial attitude of the Chief Minister Oommen is the reason for the existing problems. The chief minister and the finance minister are fully responsible for all the incidents that happened in the assembly.
Kodiyeri said if the chief minister had presented the budget then there wouldn’t have been any problems. What Mani did in the assembly was a magician’s role. If Mani’s seat was shifted, then it should have been published in the bulletin. How can you say the budget to be a valid one? If a person sit somewhere and read the budget, will it become a state budget? The LDF will not go back from its fight against corruption. We are ready to go to jail for that, he said.
