Lovelorn 19-yr-old girl hangs self; youth arrested

THALIPPARAMBU: Allegedly ditched by her lover, a 19-yr-old girl committed suicide and the police have arrested a youth in this connection. The dead has been identified as Fabia Beevi, who was residing in Salamath Nagar near Thalipparambu Seethi Sahib school.

She was found hanging inside her house by her parents at around 2:45 early morning. A letter purportedly written by Fabia was also recovered  by the police. The arrested person is Rameez (22) from Undapparambu and his name is mentioned in the letter   
The duo had been said to be in love for about five years. Though Rahim had offered to marry her, later he backed off. The police presume this to be the reason for the drastic step taken by Fabia  

The police also have traced a call that came in Fabia’s phone at around 12 midnight. The body has been shifted to Pariyaram Medical College. Thalipparambu police later reached the spot and prepared the inquest. The letter was also taken into their custody. Rameez is a mobile shop employee.
