Don’t think Assembly can function smoothly post suspension of LDF MLAs, warns Pinarayi

KANNUR: CPM politburo member Pinaryi Vijayan has said that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should not think that the Assembly would function smoothly after the suspension of LDF MLAs. Those who are obliged to protect the democracy are turning its “hangmen”. Such a shocking instance has happened in Assembly in the day (Monday).  

“Chandy should not have the feeling that his government can escape even if they suspend all the MLAs. Strikes will continue outside the Assembly against corruption and corrupt rulers. Those agitations will make Chandy-Mani corrupt government know the power of Kerala’s agitation,” Pinarayi added.
