THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Women MLAs of the opposition LDF, who were allegedly assaulted by MLAs of the ruling UDF during the ruckus in the assembly, will meet the governor and lodge a complaint. Jameela Prakasham, Geetha Gopi, K K Lathika, Aisha Potti and E S Bijimol are the five to meet the governor.
The women MLAs will brief the governor the things happened in the assembly and will also bring to his notice the insult towards them. A complaint will also be lodged against Speaker N Sakthan’s stand not taking action even after leveling a complaint.
Meantime, the five MLAs will take a decision by Monday registering a sexual assault complaint to the police. The complaint lodged to the speaker had sought action against the ruling MLAs. However, so far action has not been taken.
