Man commits suicide after hacking wife to death

KOZHIKODE: A man committed suicide after hacking his wife to death. The woman murdered has been identified as Sujatha (35) of Valyakkod.

The man recognized as Vinod (42) was found lying dead in the pond. The local residents said they heard some noise early Sunday morning.

On a search, the local residents found Sujatha lying dead in their house. The police later found the body of Vinod from the pond.
