KOCHI: ADGP Padmakumar has said that he has got valuable evidence related to the alleged murder of Sister Amala of Pala Lisieux Carmel Convent. “A person who is very much familiar with the surroundings and circumstances of the convent must have done the crime,” he said after attending a meeting held to evaluate the case’ progress.
“After killing sister Amala, the killer had washed her body and changed clothes in order to destroy evidence. This is a strange thing. More investigation is needed before arriving at a conclusion. This finding points fingers at the fact that the killer must have been a person familiar to the convent and who frequented the place. Police will examine all circumstances,” he said.
