‘Mullukalilathaa Sooryakanthi’ photo exhibition begins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy Tuesday inaugurated the photography exhibition organised in memory of noted photographer and Kerala Kaumudi photo editor S S Ram by the daily titled ‘Mullukalilathaa Sooryakanthi’ at the Press Club.

His death is an inseparable loss and it happened at a time when his photography skills had to go miles. The photo exhibition organised is the biggest tribute for him.  He congratulated Kerala Kaumudi and Ram’s colleagues for taking the initiative to conduct such an exhibition.  His photography skills were absolutely amazing, the chief minister said.

Kerala Kaumudi deputy editor P P James presided over the function. Bureau chief M M Subai delivered the key note address and political editor B V Pavanan the vote of thanks. Kerala Kaumudi editor Deepu Ravi, Minister V S Sivakumar, Ram’s wife Jayalakshmy, brother Easwar, brother in law Ramakrishnan, other family members and friends attended the function.

Almost 150 pictures of Ram were exhibited at the exhibition.
