KOZHIKODE: A Bangladeshi woman,a victim of sexual assault, housed in a Mahila Mandiram, attempted suicide. The woman admitted in the hospital was sexually assaulted at a flat in Eranhipalam.
The 34-year-old-woman, who was working as a beautician, was sexually assaulted by five persons at a flat in Eranhipalam on May 27. The woman was brought to Kozhikode by a couple after making her unconscious. She was locked in a room and then abused by the five. The court sent the woman to Mahila Mandiram.
