THRISSUR: The film fraternity Thursday bereaved the death of Balachandran (59), father of noted film actress Bhavana. He died at a private hospital in the district. He was admitted in the hospital yesterday in an unconscious stage and died of cerebral haemorrhage.
He was a photographer and a cameraman. He was the cameraman of the film Atheena. Before that, he had assisted cameraman Sony. He left the film field after Bhavana became an actress.
Though his family was willing to donate his organs, only his eye could be donated as his other organs stopped functioning.
He leaves behind his wife Pushpalatha, son Jayadevan, daughter in law Vinaya and daughter Karthika (Bhavana).
The funeral will take place at 3:30 pm today at Santhighat crematorium in Paramekkavu
