Vellappally accepts bribe for appointment in S N Trust, says VS

ALAPPUZHA: SNDP yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan accepts bribe for the appointment of teachers in colleges coming under the S N Trust, alleged opposition leader V S Achuthanandan.

Inaugurating an anti-communal seminar organised by the CPM in Kanichikulangara, he said Vellapally had accepted an amount of Rs 100 crore in the past four years through it.

VS said, “He is not hesitant to accept bribe even from Ezhavas. He is trying to unite with the Sangh Parivar and the BJP on fear after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to seize black money. He is trying to hide his own fraud.”

Organisations under the S N Trust were earlier in the name of Sree Narayana Guru but after Vellappally became the general secretary, educational organisations started in Kattachira and Kollam were given his own name. An insult bigger than this cannot be showed to the followers of Guru, said VS.

The wound will not heal if politics is mixed with religion. During Guru’s time, the state was not in the way we see it today, he said.
