THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Some unruly scenes were witnessed in the assembly in connection with the decision of Kerala Technological University to outsource conduct of exam to a private agency. Education Minister while replying said the decision was not taken after holding talks.
The government has so far not given a single penny to the company chosen through tender. However, the opposition protested attacking the minister for misleading the assembly. They trooped to the well of the house shouting slogans. The opposition members sought the resignation of the chief minister and minister K Babu. They reached the assembly with banners and placards.
