THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress chief Sonia Gandhi reached Thiruvananthapuram to attend several programmes including the inaugural function of this year’s Sivagiri Pilgrimage.
Sonia, who reached Thiruvananthapuram at 9.50 am left for Varkala in a helicopter. She will inaugurate the Sivagiri pilgrimage at 10.30 am and then leave for Kottayam soon after the event.
Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala accompanied her from New Delhi.
