THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a statement released, opposition leader V S Achuthanandan Monday said that he will lead the indefinite hunger strike starting in front of the official residence of the chief minister on January 26 by Samyuktha Samara Samithi after government failed to execute the assurances given to endosulfan victims.
The government failed to implement the decision taken at the meet convened by the chief minister following a strike staged by women on January 26 in 2015.
After making announcements and taking decisions, the government fail to implement it. A decision taken at the meet convened by Agriculture Minister K P Mohanan has not implemented so far. VS requested the people to provide financial help to make the strike a success.
