CPM spreading lies to trap me in controversies: Kummanam

KOLLAM: BJP State president Kummanam Rajasekharan has asserted that he had not demanded for the evacuation of non-Hindu vendors in temple surroundings. “Ever since I took over as BJP State president, the CPM has been spreading lies to trap me in controversies,” said Kummanam Rajasekharan. He was speaking to media persons after visiting Kadambanadu rape victims’ house.

The BJP president said, from the very beginning, attempts were being made to save the accused in the rape case. "The silence observed by activists of Human Rights and cultural organisations is a big offence. Such people’s love for SC/ST groups is hypocrisy. The issue will be brought to the notice of the Union Home Ministry. Attempts are being made to isolate the victims’ families and weaken them mentally. The BJP activists will be there for their help,” Kummanam said.
At Shooranadu Chakkuvally, BJP men arranged a reception for him. On his way back, he visited Duryodhana temple at Poruvazhy Peruviruthy Malanada.
