Two students die as bike crashes into wall

ANGAMALY: Two students who were relatives died after the bike on which they were travelling lost balance and crashed into a wall on Thursday. One more boy, who was with them, sustained severe injuries.

The deceased students were Kurumussery Alappady Echakkan Parambu Rajappan’s son Rajesh (18) and Echakkan Parambu Viswanathan’s son Manumon (18).  Punnakkal house Varghese’ son Jerine (18), who was with the other two, has been admitted to Amrita hospital with severe injuries.  

The accident happened on the national high way near Home Science College on Wednesday midnight. The Highway police reached the spot soon after the accident and started rescue work. However, the two students died on the spot.

Rajesh was a student of Parakkadavu NSS Higher Secondary School Student and Manumon was Chengamanad Government Higher Secondary School student. Jerine, who is under treatment, is a Pipe Fabrication student in a private institution.

Rajesh is survived by mother Sindhu and brother Rahul. Manumon is survived by mother Saumya and sister Minumol. The cremation took place today noon at 2 on the premises of their house.
