THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Excise Minister K Babu Tuesday welcomed the Supreme Court verdict approving Kerala Government’s liquor policy. I am happy on the verdict. Talking to reporters here, he said the verdict proves that the court has understood government’s stand.
The verdict benefits the society. The verdict will help to reduce liquor consumption. The government will strengthen awareness campaign against consumption of liquor, the minister said.
Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala too has welcomed the verdict.
