Silver stolen from jewellery shop
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Burglars broke into a jewellery shop at Chalai and decamped with at least 8 kg of silver ornaments and utensils and a minimal amount of gold. Circle inspector , Fort, S Y Suresh, said the burglars had broken into the shop by removing the tiles on its roof. The shop had no security cameras or burglar alarms. The police have lifted fingerprints from the shop and registered a case.
