Chandy should quit before chased by broom, says VS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan asked Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to resign before the public chases him with a broom. He said the LDF will not withdraw from the strike unless the chief minister and his office are brought under the purview of investigation in the solar case.

Inaugurating the Cliff House siege by the LDF, VS said, “Chief Whip P C George himself said irregularities worth millions were noticed in the plundering company run by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy along with Saritha S Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan. Still, the government is not interested in investigating that. Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan too has joined in that company.

AAP leader Aravind Kejriwal took the broom to chase away the corrupted and plunderers in Delhi. The same act should be followed here also.

VS said bringing a retired judge from somewhere to conduct the probe will not be accepted. The strike will continue till all our demands are met. The government is least bothered about the steep price rise of essential commodities.

The congress failed even after the chief minister went for a campaign in Delhi, he said sarcastically.
