KANNUR: MLAs C Krishnan and K K Narayanan appeared before the investigating official in connection with the attack on Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in Kannur. The MLAs reached the district police headquarters at 10.15 am. A team led by the investigating official Thaliparambu DySP K S Sudarsanan questioned the two.
The police had issued a notice asking the two to appear on April 27. However, the two had informed their inconvenience to appear on the day. The two appeared today as they were asked to appear before filing the charge sheet.
Chandy was injured on October 27, 2013, when he was pelted with stones by a mob after the CPM organized a black flag protest against him in the solar case.
