Palmolein: Nod for VS to produce more documents

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court allowed opposition leader V S Achuthanandan to produce more documents in the plea seeking to include Chief Minister Oommen Chandy as an accused in the palmolein corruption case. The case has been postponed to July. Senior advocate V Giri appeared in the court for the state government.

The Kerala High Court had earlier rejected VS demand to probe the role of Chandy in the case.  The vigilance’ judgment was that there were no proofs  against Chandy even after an investigation was conducted twice.
