KOTTAYAM: The local residents are besieging the Pala-Marangattupilly Road. Stones were pelted at the police. The people punctured the tyre of the police van.
The incident happened after a 40-year-old youth identified as Siby, who was taken into custody ten days ago, died following severe head injuries yesterday.
