THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The vigilance team Tuesday submitted the investigating report in the bar bribe case against Finance Minister K M Mani at the vigilance court in the capital city. The report was submitted by vigilance DySP through a special messenger. The details of the report have not been revealed. However, it is rumoured that the report states that there are no proofs to register case against Mani.
It was alleged that Mani accepted a bribe of Rs one crore from bar owners to open the closed bars. However, it is hinted that the report says that no evidences have been obtained from bar owners to prove it. The vigilance has requested to permit them to close the case as there is no evidence.
