‘I’ Group leaders meet CM for dy speaker post

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A dispute has broken out in the UDF after the ‘I’ Group and RSP have strengthened their respective stands for the deputy speaker post.

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and UDF convenor P P Thankachan met Chief Minister Oommen Chandy for the post to be given to K Muraleedharan. ‘I’ Group strengthened their stand at a time when the ‘A’ Group was in a move to accommodate Palode Ravi for the post.
