Kollywood's upcoming heroine Amala Paul, who made an impressive debut in Malayalam through Lal Jose's critically acclaimed Neelathamara, in which she played a small but significant role, has signed her second Malayalam film.She will be the heroine opposite Prithviraj in writer-director-producer Ranjith's proposed Indian Rupee, jointly produced by Prithviraj's August Cinema and Ranjith’s Capitol Theatre. The film also stars Suresh Gopi. Indian Rupeeis said to be an all-out action film. The shooting will commence soon.
