PG Course: MCI violated rules says Govt.

June 24, 2011: The State Government today informed the Kerala High Court that admission to PG courses in self financing medical colleges is not transparent. In the affidavit, the state government clarified that they have the right to conduct admissions in 50% seats of self financing colleges.
The Medical Council had violated rules issued by the Kerala High Court on the admissions in self financing colleges, the government pointed out.
The Council had the other day told the court that they cannot conduct admissions in government quota this year as the deadline had extended on May 30.
