Thursday, June 16, 2011: State Social welfare and Panchayat Minister MK Muneer today opined that the selection process in preparing the list of beneficiaries of the previous Left Government’s prestigious EMS housing scheme would be reviewed. Speaking to the reporters at a press meet held here on Thursday, he alleged that there were widespread complaints in the preparation of beneficiary lists of EMS Housing Scheme.
”The Government would review the scheme. Following its failure, it was decided to call a meeting of officials concerned of the department between June 25 and 28,” he added.
