Kodiyeri was speaking to the reporters here on Wednesday after visiting the students who were injured in the police lathicharge in the capital city.

Earlier report: -
The march taken out by the activists of the SFI to the Secretariat as a protest against the self financing issue in the State, turned violent today.
The whole area resembled a battlefield with the marchers fleeing from the police and throwing stones at the police. The police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the agitated mob. Many activists were injured in the incident and were rushed to the nearby hospitals.
Police accused the marchers of having triggered the violence while SFI leaders alleged that the violence was unleashed on protesters as part of a pre-planned strategy to suppress the agitation.
