June 25, 2011: The Anti-terrorist squad has today arrested an alleged activist of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) from Nedumbassery on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Sainulabdeen, a former all-India president of SIMI.
He was apprehended while he arrived at the Nedumbassery International airport from Dubai. The special squad informed that Sainulabdeen is a native of Andhra Pradesh and was arrested in connection with blast cases in Madhya Pradesh.
