Friday, June 17, 2011: Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan today alleged that many steps taken by Suresh Kumar, the special task force head on Munnar, during that time, were not right. Speaking to mediapersons in Idukki, VS said that the government directed the task force to grab the higher-level encroachers and to evict them from the land, but not to drag party offices to controversy.
The statements made by Suresh Kumar in relation to `Raveendran Pattayam (leases)’ created controversies, VS said.
