THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Announcing the Plus Two exam results on Tuesday, Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said that in this year’s exam, the pass percentage is 79.39. However, this is lesser than last year’s 81.34 percentage
As many as 34,2410 students wrote the exam and out that 27,8931 students qualified themselves for higher studies.
Highest pass percentage (84.15%) is in Ernakulam and lowest (71.73%) is in Pathanamthitta. 6781 got A plus for all subjects. In Science group 5651 students got A plus for all subjects. 218 students in Humanities group and 914 students in Commerce group also got A plus in all subjects.
The pass percentage in government school is 78.77%, in aided schools it is 82 % and in unaided school it is 69.87. In Open school section the pass percentage is 37.97. 40 schools could get cent percent pass.
23,808 students got A plus grade, 38,208 got B plus, 55, 887 got B Grade, 71,406 got C plus, 74,036 got C grade and 2,484 got C plus.
SAY exam for students who have failed in a subject will take place on June 3-7. May 20 is the last date for applying for the exam.
In Vocational Higher Secondary section, the pass percentage is 89.16. Last time, it was 90.32.
