PATHANAMTHITTA: The formula suggested by me in connection with the renewal of bar license is still significant, said Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. Talks on it are still continuing, he told reporters.
Chennithala pointed out that 200 bars will have to be closed as per the formula proposed by me. The minister refused to react on the criticisms voiced by KPCC vice-president V D Satheesan.
Meantime, K Muraleedharan stepped forward supporting Satheesan on the issue. The stand taken by Satheesan is practical and I support that. KPCC chief V M Sudheeran should take the initiative to solve the issue. Those supporting the issue should not be sealed as liquor lobby, he said.
