Soon, special facility for senior citizens at Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple Executive officer K N Satheesh has told Kerala Kaumudi that special facility will be provided to senior citizens and differently disabled persons at the temple. A decision in this regard will be taken soon.

Many had approached amicus curiae Gopal Subramanyam, seeking to make arrangements for senior citizens to have darshan without hassles. Following this, the amicus curiae gave instruction to the administrative committee in this regard.    
In Thirupathi temple, people above 60 years  and the physically challenged are allowed to take an aide along with them for darshan.

Satheesh added that ID card and special facilities given to certain devotees will be done away with.
