In a statement, Achuthanandan said: “In Mahabharata, Kurukshetra has been depicted as the venue of a war between dharma and adharma. By calling me shinkhandi (eunuch) who fought from the side of dharma and truth, Natesan is positioning himself in Karuava’s side of adharma and injustice.”
“In my party also there are no lower class and upper class people, but only human beings…Vellpally’s surprise kid Thushar Vellapally doesn’t have the capability to help him win the election. Thushar has no other qualification, except for the fact that he is Natesan’s son.
Regarding allegations of VS taking money as party donation, he said he had been disclosing the details of his assets and bank details to Kerala governor every year. In that there was not a single paisa donated by Natesan.
