THIRVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked for explanation from Home ministry regarding the police raid in Kerala House.
Earlier Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had written to the prime minister over the issue, which had snowballed into a controversy in home State.
Delhi Police Commissioner Bhim Sain Bassi later justified the police action, saying that the raid was conducted as a preventive measure so as to avoid further tension.
Meanwhile, police have filed a case against one Vishnu Gupya for giving a false complaint that beef was being sold at Kerala house canteen.
